So I thought I would play this browser game over my lunch break…I’m in tears. This is an insanely good example of higher cognitive emotions in games. The approach is different from mine – using mechanics as a metaphor rather than the art.
The idea behind the game is that as you approach people they move away, and as more people move away, the player feels more and more rejected. It was created as a response to loneliness in middle school students in Korea.
